Radiate is a Flutter meditation app designed to help users regulate their nervous system, shift emotional states, and build consistent self-development habits through guided audio experiences.

Created by wellness influencer Amber Lyon as part of the Modern Mind ecosystem, the product translates a personal methodology into a structured, scalable mobile experience focused on daily use and long-term engagement.

Challenge

The goal was not just to develop a meditation app, but to turn a content-driven methodology into a product that users return to daily.

Several challenges shaped the product:
• Structuring large volumes of audio content into a system that remains simple to navigate
• Ensuring uninterrupted playback across sessions and app states
• Designing for habit formation, not just one-time usage
• Creating a scalable backend without introducing unnecessary infrastructure complexity
• Allowing non-technical content management without relying on a separate CMS

The product needed to balance content depth, usability, and long-term retention.

Solution

Krootl developed Radiate as a cross-platform wellness product combining a mobile meditation experience with a custom web-based environment for content and operational management.

The application gives users access to guided meditation sessions, declarations, challenges, and personalized audio experiences designed to encourage daily engagement and long-term habit formation.

Alongside the client-facing application, we created internal tools allowing the client team to independently organize sessions, manage reflections and challenges, update product content, and continuously evolve the experience without ongoing engineering involvement.

Technical Details

Radiate was developed as a unified Flutter ecosystem combining a cross-platform mobile application, Flutter Web management platform, and Firebase-powered backend infrastructure.

The architecture was designed to support scalable audio delivery, rapid feature iteration, immersive UI rendering, and long-term maintainability across the product ecosystem.The application was built using Riverpod, Freezed, get_it + injectable, Hive CE, Firebase services, and Cloud Functions, following a clean, modular architecture optimized for cross-platform development.

Development followed a SPEC-driven workflow with AI-assisted engineering through Cursor IDE, helping accelerate refactoring, implementation, and large-scale codebase navigation.
